Those in at- tendance included Laurence Morrell and JFGO's executive director, Olga Yorish. Both happy to be among the first 40 people to arrive who each got a free "Joy of Kosher" cookbook. The American-born Israeli food writer, celebrity chef, television producer and busi- nesswoman, demonstrated how to make several recipes, gave away gift cards, prizes (courtesy of Winn Dixie) and her cookbooks. Afterwards, the crowd moved to the food- tasting area where Kosher wine was poured, four differ- ent types of latkes were served with various toppings, and two kinds of desserts--Cin- namon sugar churros and ice cream sandwich dough- nuts--were devoured. And while people ate, Geller signed her cookbooks as she chatted with her guests. For those who missed out, Geller is offering a free copy of her latest "Joy of Kosher" e-recipe book atwww.winndi- xie.com/Chanukah.
