HERITAGE FLORIDA JEWISH NEWS, NOVEMBER 7, 2014 PAGE 7A OBI-L AR ES BARRY SEYMOUR COHEN Barry Seymour Cohen, 53, of Altamonte Springs, Florida, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Oct. 20, 2014. Hewas 53 years old. A funeral service was held at the Congregation of Reform Judaism Cemetery with Rabbi Aaron Rubinger officiating. Barry was born in Miami, Florida on May 28, 1961. Son of Dr. Raymond Co- hen (deceased) and Miriam Cohen-Shader, he was the third of four children. He graduated from Coral Gables High School and went on to complete the Disney Culinary Program. For more than 20 years, Barry worked as a certified chef throughout Walt Disney World earning an honorary gold ring for his loyalty and service. He reveled in treating family and friends to a magical day at the theme parks. While working for Disney, Barry met Amanda Wolfe and they married in 1995. During their years together, the light of their lives was born in 1998, daughter Natalya Rachel Co- hen. As a father, Barry was the epitome of devotion, pride, kindness, caring, warmth and humor. Barry was also this way with everyone else in his life. He enjoyed many of life's simple pleasures, including competitive bowling, sipping espressos, seeing his friends at the JCC Fitness Center and rooting for his favorite football teams. Barry is survived by his daughter, Natalya Rachel Co- hen; mother, Miriam Cohen- Shader (Stanley); sisters, Loren London (Robert), Robin Cohen (Alan) and Shea Cohen; his nieces and nephews, Andra and Brent London, Ross and Jordan Cohen and Matthew and Danna Cohen. Barry was preceded in death by his beloved father and best friend, Raymond Cohen. Barry's accepting and warm spirit will be missed. May his memory inspire others to lend a hand to those in need of compassion, kindness or opportunity. Memorial contributions may be given to R.A.I.S.E. "Arnie" Klein of Lake Mary, passed away on Friday, Oct. 24, 2014, at South Seminole Hospital in Longwood. He was 62 years old. A native of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, Arnie was born on Aug. 1, 1952, to the late Robert Klein and Helen Pap- pas Klein. Following high school he attended Eastern Michigan University earning a bachelor's in Business degree. On Jan. 5, 1980, in Mt. Pleas- ant, he married the former Rosalie Marcus, his wife of nearly 35 years. The family moved numer- ous times as Arnie's career as a buyer in the toys and sporting goods business grew. They relocated to the Lake Mary area from Omaha, Neb., in 2002. In addition to his wife and mother, Arnie is survived by his son, Rick (Trisha) of Apopka; and sister, Randa (Jay) Marder of Miami; and a granddaughter. A funeral service was held in the sanctuary of Congre- gation of Reform Judaism with Rabbi Steven Engel and Cantor Jacqueline Rawiszer officiating. Burial followed at the CRJ Cemetery.
