Mr. Fishberg, native of Ukraine, was born on April 6, 1939, to the late Avrum and Sheva Draiman Fishberg. He did his schooling in Ukraine and graduated from university with a degree in engineering. On July 4, 1963, he married the former Irene Drakhler, his *wife of nearly 50 years who survive~ him. In 1975,the family emigrated from Russia to Win- nipeg~ Canada, and from there to Orlando in 1981. As an engineer, Mr. Fishberg was licensed in Florida, Maryland, Texas and Georgia. He worked on many of the iconic structures in Or- lando, including the SunqYust Tower, Crowne Plaza, Orlando Airport Control Tower, Orange County Convention Center and FloridaHospitals. Following the disastrous Hurricane Andrew in South Florida, Mr. Fishberg spent a great deal of time there helping in the rebuilding of Miami. In addition to his wife, Mr. Fishberg is survived by his son, Alexander (Natalie) of Orlando; his daughter, Ella (Alon) Davis of SalisburyMd.;and five grand- children. Graveside funeral services were held at Ohev Shalom Cemetery with Rabbi Arnold Siegel officiating. In memory of Iiya Fishberg, the family requests contributions to Beth Israel Synagogue General Fund, 600 Camden Ave., Salisbury, MD 21804. STEVEN ROSS GOLDBERG Steven Ross Goldberg, M.D., of West Palm Beach, died on Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012. Hewas 65 years old. Dr. Goldberg was born" on Oct. 31, 1946, in New York, to the late Hermann Alex Gold- berg and Pearl Gold Goldberg. He attended the Bronx High School of Science and received his bachelor's of science degree from City College of New York. Dr. Goldberg earned his M.DI, cum laude, from SUNY-Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse in 1971, and did his residencies at Bellevue Hospital and SUNY- Syracuse Medical Center. He served in the Army in Fort Bragg at the Womack Army Hospital and was honorably discharged with the rank of major. His medical career took him from New York to North Carolina to Pennsylvania and ultimately to Florida where he served at the VA Hospital in Orlando before relocating to West Palm Beach and the VA Hospital there. Dr. Goldbergwas predeceased by his wife, Helene, in 1996, and is survived by his sons, Jason Gold- berg and Brock Goldberg; his daughter, Amber Goldberg; and his brother, Richard Goldberg. - Graveside services were held at Temple Israel Cemetery, Go- tha, with Rabbi Arnold Siegel officiating. Services were entrusted to Beth Shalom Memorial Chapel, Orlando. SIDONIE ROSA GRUENBERG Sidonie Rosa "Sidy" Gruen- berg, 77, of Altamonte Springs, Fla., died on Sept. 19, 2012. She was 77 years old. Her fam- ily knew her affectionately as "B "a" UDD . Mrs. Gruenberg was born on Sept. 2, 1935 in Munich, Germany, to the late Walter and Erna (Eysser) Stepper. She was a Holocaust survivor who enjoyed Meril again for the same class as earlier in the day; no need to miss out no matter what your schedule is.
