PAGE 16A HERITAGE FLORIDA JEWISH NEWS, OCTOBER 3, 2014 By Pamela Ruben Renowned photographer and photo communication specialist Rinat Halon took this New Year's inspired photo of Israeli juggler Ber- nard Hasen, a performer with Cirque de Soleil in Orlando. Halon shared that the in- spiration behind the photo was to show motion in one captured frame, not with Photoshop, but with "good old knowledge of lighting and camera techniques -- all done in camera." She remarked, "I am passionate about this project to show people you don't need avideo to show motion and story -- you can do it all in one shot that conveys the whole story. I chose to workwith Bernard because of his juggling skills, which many times are too fast for the eye to even see the juggling motion. I want to show the whole juggling motion we are missing with our limited sight." Halon will be taking and donating "generation's pho- tos" at the Jewish Pavilion's "A Walk in the Park and Family Festival" on Oct. 26 at Crane's Roost beginning at 9:30 a.m. Any combination of children, parents, and/or grandparents can have their "photo story" taken (with a social media- ready image file emailed to you) at no cost. All proceeds from purchasing a retouched high resolution ready for print image file will be donated to the Jewish Pavilion by Rinat Halon Photography Com- munications.
