Friday, September 21, 1979 JWV Gather at State Photos and stonj by BARBARA COENSON-ROTH HERITAGE Staff Nearly 70 Jewish war veterans and wives from around the state of Florida, including representatives from Tampa, Pinellas County and Orlando, gathered at Orlando's Marriott Inn on September |4-|6 for the JWV State Quarterly convention. The men and women met to discuss, plan and learn about community involvement on the part of JWV posts and auxiliaries around the state. The weekend included state and regional meetings, a Selichot service Saturday night led by JWV state chaplain, Cy Woolf, and a special session arranged by Woolf and Tampa's Albert Aronovitz JWV Post #373 on crime prevention presented by guest speaker Corp. Doug Cook of the Tampa Police Department. Introducing Corp.
