CIJRE RONA, 63, 7007 Aloma Ave., Orlando, died May 23. She moved here last year from New York City where she was born. She was a housewife. Sur- vivors are her son, Richard, Miami; daughter, Mrs. Jackie Baruch, Orlando; sisters, Mrs. Eve Rosenfeld, Mrs. Sally Brown, both of Brooklyn, Mrs. Sylvia Sakett, Roslyn, N.Y.; and three grandchildren. MR. MANNY SMITH, 70, 514 Orange Dr., Altamonte Springs, died May 17. He was born in Bridgeport, Conn., and moved here from Canton, Ohio, where he was a district manager with the Shoe Corp. of America. He was past president of B'nai B'rith in Canton, an officer in the Orlando B'nai B'rith lodge and an active member of the 39ers. He is survived by his wife, Loretta; son, Gary, Canton; daughter, Beryl Myers, Houston; brothers, Saul, Miami, George, Phila- sisters, Mrs. Bess Leigh, Bal Harbor, Mrs. Dorothy Serlin, Mrs. Edith Millman, both of New York; and five grandchildren. MRS. JEAN G. COPEIAND, 80, 838 Town Circle, Mait- land, died May 20. She was born in Richmond, Va. and moved here from Birmingham in 1977. She was a member of Temple Beth El of Birmingham. She is survived by her son, Norman, Maitland; daught- er, Mrs. Sidney Mazer, Birmingham; brother, William Gandel, Baltimore, Md.; sisters, Mrs. Hanna Buklor and Mrs. Harry Goldstein, both of Baltimore, and Mrs. Lillian Olitsky, Trenton, N.J.; and six grandchildren.
