Self-taught in the game, as are his older brothers, DAVID and STEVEN, Evan gets practice by playing against adults at the Orlando Chess Club. FLORENCE and AL GUTTENTAG are very proud of their son IRA, age 18, a pre- med student at Tulane University in New Orleans, La.
