The founder of Israel@Heart was discouraged with the lack of knowledge and misinfor- mation about Israel among young people in America. He was disappointed in the efforts of the Israeli government and established American Jewish organizations to show the true face of Israel in the U.S. He started with two young people and brought them to a large rally for Israel in New York, where they energized the crowd when one of them said, "Israel has the most moral army in the world. Be proud." They traveled to a few American cities and college campuses, meeting with di- verse audiences. This spring Israel@Heart has expanded the program to 50 young Israelis, touring the country for two weeks. Dafna Harel, 24, is a recent graduate of the Hebrew Uni- versity in Jerusalem.
