Cookbook author Myrna Ossin wrote out this guide to help her children through the process. Ossin has authored two cookbooks, "Favorite Recipes from Central Florida" and "Culinary Arts and Crafts." She is in the process of writing another book based on raising four children and her lectures to the community, over the last thirty years, on various lifestyle topics. Menu and plan for eight adults and 4 children Menu Hard-boiled eggs (older eggs peel better) 12 eggs 2 - 3 apples for charoset, 2 - 4 ounces of walnuts, kosher wine Gefilte fish on lettuce (1 bottle of Mother's has six pieces) Brisket- 5- 7 lbs. and one potato per person or turkey 1/2 pound per person Horseradish Soup with matzo balls - use 2 chickens to make enough broth. (Soup can be strained and frozen in ice cube trays.) Clean chicken neck bone and save for Seder plate One recipe of matzo balls makes 20 pieces, 2 - 3 per person. Meat platter and fork Make hard-boiled eggs (one dozen) Sugar and creamer and spoon Rinse glasses and dishes if they were stored.
