Coordinator of the program, Lois Tannen- baum, has called the project a "major step to ensure that nobody, Single or Senior, need be alone on Seder nights." Sharing a Seder with strangers, she said, lends a special aura to the occasion, in keeping with our tradition of inviting the wanderer to share the meal. Host families will be matched with all those who make known their wishes to join a family for first or second night "Last year," she said, "the response was so warm and so family-oriented, we're hoping that even more families will volunteer as hosts this year."
