Joe and Bernice Davids Rishona-Chaverot Hadas- sah's special events co-chairs Sheila Greenspoon and Carole Heiler presented the Ruth Gampei Zemel Youth Aliyah Fashion Show and Luncheon at the Sheraton Orlando Downtown on Sunday, Feb. 1. Local Hadassah members-- male and female--modeled for tzedakah. The event benefits Youth Aliyah, a Hadassah project thatbegan more than 60years ago with the objective of in- suring the health, education and well-being of thousands of children entering Israel. Today, it continues to pro- vide educational training for bring elegance to casual. young people to live produc- tive lives as Israeli citizens. Dillard's team, headed by Ladies' Department Man- ager at Florida Mall, Linda Laquidara, displayed casual and semi-formal women's and men's styles modeled by Ha- dassah members. Some 150 attendees enjoyed the show. An Israeli jewlery display by Janie Unger and a collection of items from Scott Laurent attracted many people to their tables. Sylvia Semel won the $250 Nygard shopping spree at Dil- lard's and Cheryl Perlmutter won the necklace designed by Gay Harrison. Maureen McArdle goes Gweneth Paltrow one better in her timeless pink gown.
