Fla.--Israel Bonds' national campaign director announced that assistant executive director Reva Pearl- steinwill lead the Israel Bonds campaigns for the western. northern and central Flor- ida communities serviced through Israel Bonds' Tampa office. Executive director Sheryl Tepper Weitman has relocated to the Miami area to conduct the Israel Bonds campaigns in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties. In announcing the appoint- ment, the national office said. ""As Israel Bonds looks to ex- pand its base of support, we are confident that Ms. Pearlstein and Ms. Weitman will provide significant new sources of funding for Israel's continued economic development." Mr. Edelstein was born on Oct. 28.1917 in Czechoslova- kia to the late Harry and Jenny Edelstein. He owned and oper- ated a textile company and was married to the fgrmer Pearl Klein who preceded him in death in 2007. Mr. Edelstein is survived by his son, Mark (Susan) Edel- stein of Los Angeles; daughter. Linda (Barry) Dombchik of Longwood, Fla.; sister, Sarah Mayer of Kingston, Pa.; 4 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren. Fla.: died Friday, Jan. 30.2009 at his residence. He was 77 years old. A native of Brooklyn, NN., Mr. Birnbergwas born on Oct. 15. 1931. to the late William and Minnie Friedman Birn- berg. Mr. Birnberg graduated fromSyracuse University and served in the armed forces in Germany. He worked for many yeas as a salesman in retail and recently retired, after 19 years, with Bloom- ingdale's. Mr. Birnberg was mar- ried for 23 years to Ruth, who predeceased him. He is survived by his son, Eric (Jennifer) of Canala; daugh- ter, Marcy (Michael) Kast of Maitland, Fla.; sister, Gloria Kast of Maitland; and six grandchildren. Graveside services were held on Sunday, Feb. 1 at Ohev Shalom Cemetery, Orlando. Services were entrusted to Beth Shalom Memorial Chapel, Orlando. MARY F. MOSS Mary F. Moss of Orlando, Fla.. died on Friday, Jan. 30. 2009. at Florida Hospital East. Mrs. Moss was 91 years old. She was born on Feb. 8, 1917. in Hoboken. N.J.. to the late Basil and Antoinette Scafina Cappadona. Mrs. Moss worked as a dressmaker and was married to the late Max Moss for 48 years when he died in 1993. They re- tired to Florida in the early 1980s, and she moved to the Orlando area from Stuart in 2003. Mrs. Moss is survived by her sons, Raymond, Alan and Martin; daughter, Harriett Smithson; 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Donations in memory of Mrs. Moss may be made to the charity of choice. Graveside services were held at Wellwood Cemetery in Pine Lawn. N.Y., on Tuesday, Feb. 2.
